Meet Julie, a hairstylist whose journey began at the age of 10 when she met a young stylist named Marisa, sparking her lifelong passion for hair. Since the age of 18, Julie has been dedicated to her craft, undeterred by any obstacles in her path.In 1998, Julie ventured to New York City, where she co-founded Twigs salon in 2008 alongside her friends. She pursued further education by studying Balayage in Paris, France, and mastering Hair Painting techniques from NYC's top colorists. Additionally, she refined her cutting skills at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy in NYC.Julie's love extends beyond the salon chair to her rescue pitbull, Rebel, and all animals alike. Her Italian heritage is a constant source of inspiration, with dreams of one day living in Italy.Known for her expertise, approachability, and friendly demeanor, Julie is more than just a hairstylist; she's also a friend who loves to share stories and create meaningful connections with her clients. With 25 years of styling experience under her belt, Kara Ornato-Quvus is a powerhouse fueled by her passion for beauty and fashion. Trained by industry giants like Vidal Sassoon in London and Keune in Amsterdam, Kara's expertise knows no bounds. Kumi began her hairstyling career in Tokyo, Japan, over 20 years ago, moving to New York City in 2000. She loves to be creative, has extensive experience both cutting and coloring a wide variety of hairstyles, but has a particular passion for short cuts. Available Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Anne has been working in the beauty industry for 16 years. Besides her excellent work at the salon, she has also been and educator for various product and color companies as well as styling on photo shoots, commercials and videos.

Brandy began her career back in 2007 in Austin Texas and relocated to NYC shortly after. Her passion is enhancing natural beauty. She mainly focuses on effortless hair color and cuts. Her specialties range from Scandinavian blondes to sun kissed brunettes. She is also passionate about razor cutting, and loves creating soft easy looks on all hair textures.
